Nikki
Salon Owner, Therapist & Educator
"I'm the owner of N K Beauty Bar & Academy which is based in West Sussex.
I run this busy, sparkly salon where we focus on nails, toes, brows, waxing and my ultimate passion - all things lashes.
I have 15 years industry experience working with lots of different brands. I have worked in salons, on make-up counters and for myself, combining this with freelance teaching - giving back what I have learnt over the years. I realised my passion for lashes and decided this is where I wanted my focus to be, creating beautiful sets of lashes and educating others to be the best they can be.
I was blessed to have been given the opportunity to go across the other side of the world to work at the Sydney Beauty show speaking and demonstrating about the thing I love the most, LASHES!! this was a dream come true!
I am also part of the Superdrug education team with The Eyelash Emporium, giving their therapists all the knowledge and skills to take back to store and provide express lash treatments.
I have also worked with a number of magazines providing treatments to editors and influencers."
Nikki cannot choose a favourite treatment but she loves a lash lift as it gives that wow factor for even the shortest of lashes but she also adores creating volume lashes for her clients as you can create so many different looks with the right lash map.
Amy
Senior Therapist
Amy started as a classic eyelash technician working within N K Beauty Bar & Academy in April 2019 and she’s never looked back.
Amy has since trained further as a senior lash tech and can now provide the ladies of Sussex with the fullest lashes for miles!
She is now a competent brow artist and wax expert and has also enjoyed learning massage and facial treatments too. She's a beauty allrounder and a talented one at that!

Jessica
Senior Nail Technician & Educator
Jessica Marks has been in the nail industry for 22 years. As a double award winning nail technician she divides her time between salon work and teaching. She has worked at many events for brands such as Jaeger, L K Bennett, Vans and Warehouse. Jessica has featured in trade publications such as Scratch magazine, Professional Beauty and The Guild, as well as some consumer press. Jessica has also assisted at London Fashion Week and she has also had the honour to treat celebrities such as Emeli Sandé and Anne Marie, as well as being an on screen nail tech for Orly live on QVC.
Jessica is an international master level educator for a ibd and Aii Beauty and head educator with Orly UK. She has been teaching nails since 2002. She is also the National nail art trainer for Superdrug’s in store nail technicians.
As a highly skilled technician Jessica joined the nail competition circuit in the mid 2000s and entered the first ever London Nailympia completion. As a former competitor and now an international judge Jessica has learned the values of consistency and a drive to always improve yourself.
Jessica specialises in sculptured nail extensions, gel polish and has a passion for nail art.
